Bodily changes during puberty: Vaginal Discharge

Another change to watch out for is vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge is a white or clear-ish fluid that comes out of your vagina. You might find it on your underwear or when you go to the washroom. This is natural and helps keep you clean and healthy.

Vaginal discharge can come in different quantities, colors, and textures, and may change throughout the month. If you notice it starts to change color or smell bad, you should talk to a trusted adult or doctor.

Everyone’s body changes a little differently during puberty, so don’t worry if you don’t experience all these changes when your friends do. Remember, these are all signs that your body is preparing you to be a healthy adult and they are nothing to be ashamed about.
